Neals Yard Rehydrating Rose Collection

Working in the beauty industry means I am forever buying new products and trying new things. However I suffer with eczema so I do have to be careful what I try on the skin and always look at the ingredients. Neals Yard is based in Covent Garden in London they offer products, treatments and even herbal tea. They are completely natural and have no nasty hidden ingredients. They are an aromatherapy based brand. My skin has been very dehydrated since the birth of my son so I was really excited to see their new rose hydrating range. At the moment this is my night time routine. I keep it all set up in my bathroom so its easy to do. Being a mum of a toddler and a baby I need something that does not take hours!

First I start with the rose facial wash, then the face oil and then the light cream. Once a week I then use the polish exfoliator too which is so gentle on the face. None of the products dry your skin out not even the scrub. And the rose oil is amazing!

My Hallway

Hallway Design My Hallway was very dark when we brought this house two years ago there was no natural light. This was because the front door had no glass or window and the walls were dark in colour. I went for pale grey with a blue undertone this makes the grey paint warmer. Having tiles on the floor means it can be a little cold so I did not want a cool tone of grey. I was going to use Farrow and Balls Elephants Breathe but I found this to be very dark. Although other Farrow and Ball colours I love such as Pale Powder.ere also a dark colour. The first thing we did was change the door to one which has glass. It is enough to let the light in but still provides us with privacy. How Painting Furniture Transformed My Home

By painting some items in the home you can really transform the way that they look and bring an old pice of furniture a new life! Above I have used Crown Antique Cream to change and transform this dresser. I first started painting my garden furniture as I wanted to brighten up the garden and the table and chairs were looking quite tired. We do not get much sun here in England so its nice to add some extra colour with this paint. I did two coats of this colour by Cuprinol in Coastal Mist. Im so happy with the colour it feels very beauty and has really made the furniture look more polished. You may need to sand the wood first I did not have too. Then I wanted to paint the metal chairs and table in the garden as they were green but I wanted them to go back to white. Easter Decorations For The Home

Spring This time of year spring is one of my favourite times of the year, spring is when we know here in England that summertime is getting closer. No more dark nights and cold days but longer lighter days with warmer weather. My son was also born on the 14th of March this year so I now love this month even more than I did! Having children I now have two boys means that you start to embrace different times of the year like christmas and easter. Well as my eldest son is nearly three I wanted to this year decorate our home. It makes easter more exciting and another nice reason to celebrate. Also they can enjoy the easter egg hunt in the garden with my family. The best place I found for easter decorations for the home was TKMaxx it had an amazing selection where I live.
