New Next Home Haul

Recently I have got some lovely new things for my home from Next Home Store here in England. I really like shopping at Next Home as its not too pricey and they suit my home style. I also find I can mix up there items with slightly more high end pieces. The only thing I find is often friends will have same pieces as they are not one off items like stores such as Home Sense but I am still happy with my items! I love this bunch of artificial flowers in my hallway from Next they were only £6 Im a sucker for nice bedding I think because I love my bed and I have eczema so I like nice soft bedding. This was £20 for two pillows and king sheet, its grey and goes perfectly with my yelllow Laura Ashley bedding as seen underneath. You cannot beat yellow and grey! Its nice and bright and calming in the room. This I have put in the dining room it was a great price at £16 This is a photo frame but I actually quite like it as it is this was £30 The ...

My Sons Room

I thought I would put up this post as I have recently done my sons bedroom who is almost three. I did his room on a budget as we are currently doing up other rooms in our home. It goes to show you do not have to spend a fortune when doing up your home. I also think three is a nice age to do their room from a nursery to a toddler toom. As you can see Elijah loves pirates! I got both the bunting and the accessories for the pirate theme from The Range together it was less than £10. The walls are painted in Homebase own blue paint, I really like that its not a dark blue. As I think children bedrooms should be calm shades. The matching bedding and curtains are from Debenhams they match perfectly with paint. My son is soon going into a toddler bed so I got toddler bedding instead of the cot bed set. I needed to take his rocking chair so that my baby had it for feeding. So we thought this bean bag was fun and two of us can fit on this.  Its from Argos £22 and works...

Neals Yard Rehydrating Rose Collection

Working in the beauty industry means I am forever buying new products and trying new things. However I suffer with eczema so I do have to be careful what I try on the skin and always look at the ingredients. Neals Yard is based in Covent Garden in London they offer products, treatments and even herbal tea. They are completely natural and have no nasty hidden ingredients. They are an aromatherapy based brand. My skin has been very dehydrated since the birth of my son so I was really excited to see their new rose hydrating range. At the moment this is my night time routine. I keep it all set up in my bathroom so its easy to do. Being a mum of a toddler and a baby I need something that does not take hours! First I start with the rose facial wash, then the face oil and then the light cream. Once a week I then use the polish exfoliator too which is so gentle on the face. None of the products dry your skin out not even the scrub. And the rose oil is amazing!

Marks & Spencer Haul

I love Marks and Spencer Home here in England it is one of the finer stores but the price is always reasonable. I can't stop myself buying hand towels lately! I think its because it is something that all your guests use and see when they come to the home. Also it can really make a difference to your downstairs bathroom.  Here are a couple of things that I picked up on my shopping haul in store. Above show the items I picked up, I love the union jack cushion which was £15 from Marks. The hand towels look beautiful in the guest bathroom and really suit my home style. The room mist is amazing I cannot stop spraying it! And a total bargain for £2. After we have eaten dinner and I have cleared away I like to mist it through the kitchen. Lemon is a great fragrance to take away food odour

Cath Kidston Haul

I love Cath Kidston its an English brand that has been around for many years, it is traditional with a modern twist. The cups are priced at around £6 - £7. I really love to invest in nice cups and plates I think the food and drink seem better when served in nice home wear!
